Expanding Access to Specialist Care for Aged Care Facilities, GP's and the Public

At My Emergency Doctor, we have long provided emergency medical services, mental health support, and GP consultations via telehealth. Now, with the addition of Medical Specialist Services, we offer even broader care options, supporting patients, healthcare providers, and aged care facilities with dedicated cardiology and geriatric care. This expansion allows us to better serve the healthcare community with streamlined access to expert care.

How It Works

Getting started is easy. All you need is a referral from a GP.

  1. A GP or healthcare provider sends a referral letter to specialists@connectedmedical.com.au.
  2. Our administrative team contacts the patient or healthcare provider to schedule a telehealth appointment with a geriatrician or cardiologist.
  3. A video consultation is arranged, where the specialist provides a thorough assessment and develops an ongoing management plan.
  4. A clinical report is uploaded to My Health Record and sent to the referring clinician for continuity of care.

Note: Full payment is required before the consultation.

In this session, Dr. Maneesha De Silva and other experts shared valuable insights on managing dementia across different care settings. If you missed it, you can still watch the webinar recording below.
